Hunger Games: Le Film/The Hunger games

Every year, in the ruins of what was once North America, the Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of the 12 districts to send a boy and girl tribute between the ages of 12 and 18 to compete in the Hunger Games: a nationally televised event in which the 'tributes' fight each other to the death until one survivor remains. When Primrose Everdeen is "reaped", her older sister Katniss volunteers in her place as tribute to enter the games and is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts and knowledge when she's pitted against highly trained and fierce "tributes" from all of the other districts.

Chaque année, dans les ruines de ce qui fut jadis l'Amérique du Nord, le Capitole de Panem contraint chacun des douze districts à envoyer un garçon et une fille, âgés de 12 à 18 ans, participer aux Hunger Games : un événement télévisé à l'échelle nationale où les « tributs » s'affrontent à mort jusqu'à ce qu'il n'en reste qu'un. Lorsque Primrose Everdeen est tirée au sort, sa sœur aînée, Katniss, se porte volontaire à sa place et doit faire appel à son instinct et à ses connaissances face aux redoutables « tributs » des autres districts, redoutables et entraînés.
